"Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the discples rebuked those who brought them. Jesus said, 'let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'"  (Matthew 19:13-14)

WHEN & WHERE?

• School Sunday School meets from 8:45-9:45 Sundays from September-May
• Classes meet in the classrooms of Peace Lutheran School.

WHAT IS IT?

• Seven different levels with dedicated teachers, covering age 3 through 8th grade
•  Parents are welcome to stay for class or they may wish to attend one of the Bible classes offered at the same time.
• There is no cost for materials. We welcome children of visitors and guests.

WHY SUNDAY SCHOOL?

• Children become more familiar with the famous Bible stories that tell the story of God's love for the world and the Savior that he sent us.
• Children enjoy learning these stories in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, and meeting new students at their age level.
• 7th and 8th grade students enjoy topical studies discussing what the Bible has to say about pressing issues for the early teen years.  Older students have the opportunity to serve as helpers in the primary classrooms.
• Sunday School may enable your family to sample our Sunday morning Bible studies offered in the same time slot.  Many families have found that an hour of bible education for the family, combined with weekly worship, provides a well-rounded opportunity for them to grow as a family in the knowledge of God's word.
